My expectations for West Coast bagels are already managed, but Sam’s Bagels on Larchmont still managed to let me down. We saw the Noah’s a few blocks over and foolishly thought a local spot had to be the better move. Nope, Wrong What I got wasn’t a bagel—it was a glorified, oversized dinner roll with a hole in it. Zero chew, zero crust, just pure pillowy sadness. I’ll give them credit where it’s due: the counter service was fast and friendly. But speed doesn't matter when the final product lacks any actual bagel soul. If you’re looking for a soft bread roll to go with dinner, you’re in luck. If you want an actual bagel, keep walking.

This bagel shop has become one of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots. My go-to orders are the chicken salad bagel, the tuna bagel, and the breakfast bagel. The chicken salad is flavorful and generously portioned, while the tuna is fresh and well-seasoned. The breakfast bagel is a great way to start the day, packed with delicious ingredients and served on a perfectly toasted bagel. And sometimes I’ll keep it simple with a bagel with just cream cheese. They also have multiple cream cheese flavors and they are all amazing!!!! The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the quality is consistently excellent.

This restaurant was such a great experience! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with family or friends. A special shoutout to Edwin for providing amazing service. He was very kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed during our visit. His friendly personality and excellent customer care really made the experience even better. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this restaurant. Edwin truly made us feel welcome and took the experience to another level!

I had such a great experience at this bagel shop! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The smell of fresh bagels baking instantly let me know I was in for something special. Everything looked incredible, and it was honestly hard to choose because the selection was so good. The bagels themselves were perfectly baked — crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, just how a bagel should be. The spreads were fresh and flavorful, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s clear they care about what they’re serving. I also want to give a special shoutout to Edwin. He went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect. He was friendly, patient, and genuinely kind — the kind of person who makes you want to come back. His positive attitude and great customer service really stood out and made the whole visit even better. If you’re looking for delicious bagels and outstanding service, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back — and I hope Edwin is there when I do!

Best bagels on Larchmont—possibly in town. Super unassuming spot, been around forever. No frills, just delicious food!
